2006 - MICHAEL
CRAWFORD
Featuring 34 piece orchestra, with soloist Dale Kristien
Popular British music icon Michael Crawford returns to headline Barossa Under the Stars in 2006. No stranger to South Australia and the Barossa Valley, Crawford performed at Barossa Under the Stars for the first time in 2000 to a capacity crowd. Crawfords multi award-winning lead role in Andrew Lloyd Webers Phantom of the Opera saw him spend 6 years touring the world and thrilling audiences in theatres from London to New York. His long stage and screen career has seen him work with some of the greatest names in the industry including John Lennon, Gene Kelly, Barbara Streisand and Oliver Reed. Michael became a household name worldwide playing the loveable but socially inept Frank Spencer, in Some Mothers Do Have em, but his passion has always been his music. Saturday 25 February, 2006 |
